Linda Stiles offers the ROI analysis program based on the teachings of Jack J. Phillips in his text Return on Investment in Training and Performance Improvement Programs. Dr. Phillips is the recognized leader in measurement and evaluation. Linda is certified to administer this ROI process through the American Society for Training & Developments’ (ASTD) ROI Skill-Building Certificate Program.
There are five levels of return on investment analysis to help businesses quantify, justify and satisfy improvement expectations of their training initiative.
Level One:
Participants' Response
At the end of each training session, participants will complete an evaluation to assess their level of satisfaction with the training event. These results are compared to a predetermined result target such as a 9.5 expectation on a 1 to 10 scale.
Level Two:
Participants' Learning
To determine in class learning, each participant will be given a pre-course review and a post-course review. The difference between the average scores will point to the level of information absorbed during the training event.
Level Three:
Participants' Application
To measure how well the participants are applying what they have learned from our training sessions we contact the participants 30, 60 or 90 days after the training event. In sessions where this level is measured, each participant will create a Personal Action Plan. The degree with which the participant plan has been implemented determines their application of the learned material.
Level Four:
Company Impact of Learning Application
The goal of the fourth level of ROI analysis is to measure the company impact of the learning application from each participant. To achieve this, we measure ways in which the company has changed because of the training initiative. This level will require executive involvement to determine the strategic changes desired.
Level Five:
Market Impact of Company Change
In the final level of ROI analysis, we examine the impact the company change has had on the market in terms of company growth, market share and other key indicators. This long-term and intense level of analysis can only be performed with dedicated and consistent internal support including executive involvement.
Levels 4 and 5 are highly customized for each of our clients.
